Both sides of the Q2 board have been designed to be easily wiped clean. Disinfectants, alcohol based solutions (up to 75%) and even autoclaves up to 85ºC can be used.

In addition a silver based antimicrobial agent QGardTM, incorporated into the board structure during manufacture, provides a permanent defence which inhibits the surface growth of harmful organisms.
